Your campsite in Normandy

Come and discover the camping Les Vikings located on the Cotentin peninsula in Barneville-Carteret, close to Cherbourg and the ferry arrival point. You'll have the opportunity to discover - or rediscover - the long, fine sand beaches with views towards the Channel Islands.

And you should also come and see Mont St Michel with your family or friends, as this Normandy tourist destination is an amazing place to visit during the day as well as at night. You'll also be able to visit Cherbourg's Cité de la Mer, which is 40 km away and where you'll love the aquariums, submarines and variety of models.

And we mustn't forget the Allied Landing beaches of Utah, Omaha, Sword and Juno, or the museums commemorating  the history of the 20th century. And looking towards the horizon you'll see the islands of Jersey and Guernsey in the distance; a little piece of Great Britain just off the coast of Normandy!

The pretty seaside resort of Barneville-Carteret is a lovely place to visit, with long, golden beaches, cliffs, a lighthouse and fern-covered sand dunes. Activities for everyone await you here, with fishing, watersports, kite flying and bathing.
